On a serious note for all of the veterans on the forum. We have all earned our health care and other VA benefits. And it doesn't matter if you served during peace time or in combat, you have still earned it. Please use your benefits.

And I can not speak highly enough for Disabled American Veterans. Their VSO officers are top notch when it comes to helping vets with VA claims.
The VFW, American Legion, and the Military Order of the Purple Heart also have VSOs in most places. And surprisingly my local state VA office was a big help in navigating the system.
Not to take away from dav, but when I went through the whole claim process the dav didn’t have a vso in my area. I personally used a rep from the legion.
It's all good. Please list other VSO's that you have had good experiences with. There are a lot of different organizations that have VSO's . some are good and some not so much.
I personally have only dealt with a state VSO from Missouri (which didn't do much) and DAV.
I'm not a vet, but I'd like to thank y'all from the bottom of my heart for your service.
We always appreciate the support thank you for that.
We can never thank y’all enough! Y’all deserve so much more than you get.
Does anyone know of a good VSO here in Southern Com..I mean Cal? I've been wanting to file a claim but I know I need help.
If no one has someone that they recommend. I googled Southern California VSO and came up with some information. If you go the google route I would call and get a feel for them, I would rather do that in person , but looking at google at some of the sites that may not be possible. From there you can pick the person you think would be best for you.
@Dru Down I can recommend the DAV they are very good and you do not need to join. https://www.davcal.org/find-your-local-chapter.html
Much Appreciated Michele!
Joined up and will be giving them a call in a few hours when they open.
As a civilian, I couldnt agree more. Thank you to all the veterans out there you guys rock 💪

When I had issues I found a DAV rep in the regional offices of the VA. DAV is fantastic when helping!
